Interior Design Process
When you’re looking for “the works.”
Discovery Call
Let’s get to know each other! Start off by filling out our Design Inquiry Form so we can get the basics out of the way. Then we’ll schedule a time to chat more about the vision you have for your home and how we can help manifest it.
In-Home Consultation & Proposal
Once you’ve decided to move forward, we’ll meet you on site to walk through your space and take photos, videos, measurements and detailed notes. Together we’ll assess any construction, fabrication and installation needs and determine what vendors will need to give bids. After the visit, we’ll present a proposal to make things official, including scope of work and design fees.
Design Concept & Development
This is where the plan takes shape! We’ll manage development of the overall design, which will help inform and define construction timelines and budgets. We’ll develop mood boards and with your input, we’ll begin to specify any necessary finishes, including paint, flooring, wall coverings, countertop and cabinet materials, making sure to present samples, as well as drawings and renderings whenever necessary, for your approval. We’ll also suggest furniture, fixtures and equipment.
Implementation
Demo & construction work begins, if applicable; we’ll work alongside your contractor to oversee that all aesthetic and design-based work is up to par. For full service clients, this is also where we manage placing all orders and handle the logistics of deliveries and any troubleshooting that may arise. We’ve got you!
Installation
Everyone’s favorite part of the process – the big reveal! While smaller installations may happen throughout the process, this is the final day where all the details and styling come together. We’ll be there to make sure every pillow is fluffed, every piece of art is hung and every throw is zhuzhed.
